Mark Russell

Partner
Having completed a degree in Accountancy & Finance in 2007, Mark successfully achieved his ACCA qualification in 2011 to become a Chartered Certified Accountant.
In 2012 he began managing a branch for a leading accountancy firm in the East Anglia region, continuing to grow his portfolio for a further 12 years by developing strong relationships with clients. Deciding to use the skills learnt within the industry, Mark embarked on Co-founding MLA Advisory in June 2024.
Throughout his career Mark has been involved with a variety of businesses from start-ups to corporates, but always providing a personal touch. He especially enjoys problem-solving and building bespoke tax planning to help his clients achieve their financial goals.
Lee Stratton

Partner
Lee started his accounting career in 2005, completing his AAT qualification in 2008 and then became a Chartered Certified Accountant with ACCA in 2010.
Early in his career Lee developed a passion to work alongside business owners, supporting them in making key decisions with a particular focus on their planning around growth, sustainability and tax efficiency.
Lee left his role as a director of a leading accountancy firm in 2023 after 18 successful years with them to start the next chapter of his career. Co-founding MLA Advisory in 2024.
Lee now works with a wide range of business owners sharing his experiences, with notable links to those within Construction, Care and Hospitality.
Adam Hook

Partner
Adam started his accountancy career back in 2006 and completed his ACCA qualification in 2009. By this point he was working as a client manager and played an important role in a fast-growing accountancy practice as it expanded rapidly across the region. After 17 enjoyable years he decided it was time for a change and co-founded MLA in June 2024.
Adam particularly enjoys developing relationships with clients whereby they look to his advice and guidance as an important sounding board before making critical decisions within their business. He covers a wide range of sectors but has a notable involvement with construction and agriculture.
